幾天的聖誕假期中,相信你至少也吃過一嚏u打邊爐」吧!
香港人對「打邊爐」(火鍋)的熱衷,已到了一個不可思議的地步。聖誕夜,諗住西曙U定必客滿,於是一早訂好火鍋店的位子,以避人潮;誰知去到,門外人龍依樣,仍然要等上半小時。證明香港人不愛火雞,偏愛火鍋。
早年城中幾家著名的火鍋店,以甚麼「四季火鍋」、「天天火鍋」為名,就反映了大家一年四季都愛吃火鍋、天天都可打邊爐的心態。其實,火鍋這種冬天的菜式和吃法,之所以能夠打進夏天變成四季皆宜,香港人肯定居它黹間F「開大個冷氣打邊爐」這種點子,本身就很「香港」。
也陶怴u香港」的打邊爐,是快孺控壎X的「一人一鍋」。打邊爐明明是很大堆頭,往往要動員全家人一起才會去吃的,但「一人一鍋」卻將之變成個人化、輕便化,而且居然還可以外賣,絕對是香港飲食史上的一大里程碑。
然而火鍋的「香港化」並不止於此。當大家在火鍋前酒過三巡、杯盤狼藉,已「打」得七七八八之際,忽然有人再Order一客「公仔麵」,將之放入湯中即煮即食,然後大家你一箸我一箸的搶來吃;這一刻,才是真真正正的「香港打邊爐」!
