每個辦公室之中，都會有個「手信位」。
所謂「手信位」，可能是辦公室某個矮身櫃的櫃頂，可能是某張空置的無人辦公桌，亦可能是Pantry中某個茶几。無論是在何處，「手信位」一定很接近秘書們；不信的話，請走去秘書的位子，然後顧盼身旁十呎範圍，你一定會很易發現「手信位」。
有趣的是，從來沒有人指定「手信位」設置在哪兒。之不過，每次有同事們外遊或公幹回來，總會自自然然的把手信公開放置在該個統一的地方，毋須約定也不必指定。
只要閣下的辦公室有番咁上下規模，比方說有五、六十個員工以上，這個手信位必然會全年「座無虛設」。因為，就算不是每周都有同事公幹，也必定會幾乎每周都有同事放大假；大假之後，手信就自然來。
「手信位」，其實也正好是近期旅遊熱點的指標。如果「手信位」頻頻出現甚麼和果子、草餅、Wasabi豆的話，日本就是大家的熱門去處。有陣子「手信位」的熱貨是鳳梨酥、老天祿鴨舌等，那期大家就興去台灣。假使「手信位」有芒果乾、脆肉乾、魷魚鬚之類，唔使講都知有人又去完泰國。
每次站在「手信位」前攞嘢食時，我都在想：「去旅行的為何不是我？」
