很怕碰上一些人，為自己改了個奇形怪狀的英文名，真的很怕。而偏偏，香港特別多這類人。
所謂「奇形怪狀的英文名」，很難形容亦很難界定，之不過，只要對方一開口介紹自己，是否奇形怪狀一聽便知，毋須分析。至於，為何我會很怕？也閉O天生的防衛本能，覺得與這種懶係要突出自己的人士，道不同不相為謀吧。
聽說有位行家，叫做Devil。這個名字，肯定不是他父母賜予的，除非他是傳說中的「魔鬼之子」吧。真的想不透，好人好姐為何要改個咁的名？相信很多僱主，看到Devil這個名字，都會敬而遠之而不予考慮吧！（警隊亦肯定唔收吽I）
相反地，多年前訪問過一位大學生，英文名是God。見到這個「神」我真係頭痛，訪問還未做，在曙U甫一坐下，他就點了一碟「鮑魚燴意粉」！幸好真神站在我這邊，侍應居然答道：「冇鮑魚喎！」God兄只好死死氣地改叫「火腿燴意」。
有神有魔，自然也有怪獸。以前任職一家大公司中，就有位仁兄叫做Alien。聽到就怕怕，幸好任職八年多，從來不用接觸這個外星人。
還有，忽然記起一位舊同事Falcon兄：喂，你的名字讀音是「科勤」，不是「Fell-Coin」呀！
