 在街上見到新出版的《東TOUCH》，封面黑底金字的，十分高雅。赫然發現是六百期紀念號，馬上掏腰包，買了兩本；一本看，一本儲。
一本周刊出到六百期，絕對不是一件易事。近年有釵h釵h的雜誌周刊，出不到一百期就關門大吉；似乎一百期（大約兩年）是一個關口，捱得過兩年，就應該在銷量上和廣告收入都上了軌道。
可是，去到二百期、三百期左右，即創刊四至六年吧，就會有另一個關口。此時雜誌銷量會開始停滯甚至下滑，主要是由於其他新雜誌的衝擊。今時今日，報攤上咁多選擇，有甚麼理由要期期買同一本雜誌？因此忠實讀者相當難尋。以往的長期讀者，會因為年紀大了或是種種的心態轉變，改看其他類型雜誌；至於後生一代，又往往會偏向選買較新創刊的雜誌。所以，銷量會很自然地下調；此時如沒有任何拯救動作，雜誌會走上所謂「陰乾」之路，未必能慶祝五百期。
假使雜誌痛定思痛，馬上在內容上作出大改革（通常也會涉及人事上的改組，為雜誌換腦袋嘛），重新定位，令人耳目一新，那就應該可以順利過關，留住舊讀者並吸納新顧客。
《東TOUCH》六百期，你們做到了，在此恭喜恭喜！
