有一種文字叫做「每日金句」或「每日箴言」，即每天引錄一段發人心省的精警句子，教我們在忙亂的每一天靜下來、想一想。
這些「金句」，有時印在日曆或日記簿上，有時在電視或電台上出現。就算你沒有刻意去找來看，也會經常在不自覺間聽到或看到，在你那一刻的心湖上泛起了漣渏。
然而在今時今日，「每日金句」卻以另一種形式，每天出現在我面前，乃是MSN Messenger的個人名稱及個人信息。釵h朋友在MSN上出現時，不單止會經常改名，更會在名字之後的「個人訊息」欄，加上一句半句的「金句」、「名言」。仔細讀一讀的話，也會獲益良多。
執筆之時，MSN上有朋友「莎朗」，就列出了一句：「仍然同樣樂知天命，旁人沒說久仰大名，天空很大，不怕暫時做暗星。」似乎是流行曲的歌詞吧？卻不免流露了她的心境。
Howard的金句是：「人生太短出手要更大，旁觀者不需理解。」「二少」的是：「Life is short but Love is long.」然而「隨緣」兄的最得我心：「靜坐常思己過，閒談莫論人非。能受苦乃為志士，肯吃虧不是癡人。敬君子方顯有德，怕小人不算無能。退一步天高地濶，知足者人心常樂。」
