都已經三月份了，氣溫仍徘徊在攝氏十度上下。有冇搞錯？又話今年將會是有紀綠以來最熱的一年？如此反常的氣候，幾乎令我痛失至愛。
話說有一晚收工回家，正好有朋友來訪。她在逗弄我那三頭「獅子兔」之餘，忽轉移目標說：「等我睇下你嗰兩隻老鼠先！」她口中的「老鼠」，指的當然是我所養的倉鼠。
誰知，這才察覺籠內兩頭平日活潑好動冇時停的倉鼠，居然毫無動靜，只各自捲縮在一角，叫也不睬、撥也不動，眼亦不開；我伸手一探，心知不妙！牠們的身體冰涼，呼吸微弱，手震腳震，已然是奄奄一息了！
要知道，倉鼠最忌寒冷，在冬季若然保溫不足，很易會凍死。這陣子我就以為步入了春季，於是疏忽了保溫工夫，造成眼前的慘劇！
馬上展開急救工作！把牠們抱在掌心，一方面以我的體溫暖熱之；再以塑膠水瓶注滿熱溫水，讓牠們抱緊。若干分鐘之後，只見牠們悠悠醒轉，張大雙眼，開始想掙脫我手……吁，總算大難不死，逃過一劫了！兩小時後，牠們已完全復元，如常在籠內轉輪幹活！
喂，天氣仍然不穩定，大家也要多注意身體呀！
