曾志偉在今屆《香港電影金像獎頒獎典禮》上，把一眾電腦 BT 玩家揶揄一番，說 BT 代表了 Bad Taste。
可是在互聯網的常用語言中，BT 卻有另一個更普遍的用法，乃代表了另一個罵人的詞語：「變態」。噢，應該說，這只適用於中國人的網上社區。
如果你經常到訪一些網上的論壇、聊天室，只要那是有釵h內地人流連的，你就一定會對這類英文字母簡寫毫不陌生。例如，BT 是「變態」，BS 則是「扁死」，即廣東話中的「打死你」。BL 則比較難明，居然是指 Boy Love，即男與男之間的曖昧關係。
MM 不是代表那隻朱古力牌子，而是「妹妹」、「美眉」的簡寫，PLMM 就是「漂亮妹妹」，即我們口中的「靚女」了。舉一反三，有妹妹自然有哥哥、姐姐、弟弟，分別是 GG、JJ 和 DD。
PFPF 嘛，是「佩服佩服」的意思。除了英文字母，數字也有：最多人知的是 88（拜拜）和 886（拜拜咯）；9494，是用來認同對方意見的「就是就是」；555 嘛，與「嗚嗚嗚」同音，喊也！
這類網上簡語，例子繁多，不能盡錄，絕對比簡體字更要簡得多！
