較早前寫過一篇文章《Quota》,指各行各業的銷售人員都看 Quota 過日子,必須做到一定 Quota 才可保住飯碗。其實,就算做到管理階層,也是一樣的。
朋友 M 最近找我訴苦。他於一家著名商業機構任職中層管理,去年公司大肆擴充,他的部門也增聘了一些人手。可是於今年年初,他就收到高層的訊息,謂由於擴充後業績未如理想,過完農曆年後就要「做洁v。資深的 M 馬上明白,所謂「做洁v就是要節流,而節流的最有效手法就是削減人手。
M 心中有數,早就有了心理準備,打算於過年後把三個人名交上去。於是,那三位員工在二月底就被通知:三月不用上班了。
M 滿以為解決了問題。然而,M 的上司在三月初找他訓話說:「老細話仲未交夠 Quota!你個部門要再減兩個人!」無可奈何地,M 又遣散了兩位員工。
故事未完。到了三月中,上司又找 M 入房說:「唉,條數計唔掂,老細話你要再減多兩個。」結果,前前後後 M 要辭退七名員工;回想去年擴充時,他也只不過增聘了四名人手而已。
到底 M 交夠 Quota 未?真係冇人夠膽講!
