之前寫過，說《星球大戰》對後世釵h科幻片，以至日本動畫（如《機動戰士高達》）都有深遠影響。但你可知道，《星戰》又是受甚麼影響而誕生的呢？
《魔戒》。對，正是大家近年十分熟悉的《魔戒三部曲》。當然，《星戰》在一九七七年拍成，所以它受的影響源自《魔戒》原著小說，而非這幾年的電影版。
其實，《魔戒》原著在西方文化界的影響力，有如華文世界中的金庸小說；釵h鬼仔鬼妹自細（中學時代左右）就睇《魔戒》小說，對其故事耳熟能詳，就如我們的中學生大部分都識得楊過小龍女一樣。而《星戰》之父佐治魯卡斯，就絕對是一個《魔戒》大 Fans！
從何見得？其實有釵h蛛絲螞迹可尋。《魔戒》第一部裏，講的是一個鄉下仔，自小跟開阿叔，自阿叔手上得到魔戒後，走上了對抗黑暗勢力的道路。
而第一部《星戰》電影（即第四集故事），講述一個鄉下仔，自小由阿叔養大，偶然得到機械人 R2-D2 後，逐漸走上另一條路，成為拯救宇宙、對抗黑暗勢力的英雄。……你覺得唔似咩？明天續談。（《星戰》隨想曲之五）
