在電影《星際快閃黨》（The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy）中，有一個全宇宙最沮喪、最憂鬱的大頭機械人 Marvin（港譯「大頭 B」）。它凡事總以最悲觀的態度，向着最壞的那方面去想。
現實中的電腦、機械人，暫時仍未懂得「沮喪」為何物。然而，它們卻經常令其使用者，感到極度沮喪、極度憂鬱！
你試過電腦中毒嗎？突然之間，你電腦的視窗系統完全不能再啟動，屢試屢敗；查究原因，原來是一個系統檔案被破壞了！雖然只是小小一個檔案而已，但卻沒法就此簡單修復，你必須把電腦硬碟的內容全部洗掉，將硬碟重新格式化，然後重裝視窗、重裝驅動程式、重裝所有東西……
「重裝」者，整個過程起碼超過四小時！若然你的電腦在半夜中毒，我可以保證，唔見太陽出來你都唔會搞得掂！──點解我咁肯定？因為我試過！仲試過唔止一次！
在如此的漫漫長夜，對住個熒幕，不斷睇住部電腦 Restart 又 Restart，又不斷要你確認呢樣嗰樣；那時候，你（或我）就是全宇宙最沮喪、最憂鬱的人！那時候，你（或我）的頭會比「大頭 B」還要大得多！
