見報攤上有本新出的漫畫，名為《新怪醫秦博士》。一見「怪醫秦博士」五個字，二話不說，就掏腰包將之買下了！
但問題，就出於那排頭位的第六個字：「新」。
人所皆知，《怪醫秦博士》原名《Black Jack》，或譯《怪醫黑傑克》，乃「日本漫畫之神」手塚治虫的經典名作。手塚本身讀醫出身，想不到後來竟脫下醫生袍走去畫漫畫。因他具備醫學知識，故畫《怪醫》時特別得心應手，真的畫到「有血有肉」（不止是手術場面）。當中描述到醫生與病人的關係、醫院中的政治鬥爭、人類面對疾病與死亡的掙扎等等，比諸現今的醫生劇集（《白色巨塔》、《救命病棟》、《E.R.》、《妙手仁心》等等），意念早了三十幾年！
我自小就迷《怪醫》，家中早就收藏了三、四套不同版本。眼見又有《新怪醫秦博士》面世，註明原作是手塚治虫，由他人編繪，起初都有興趣看看的。
一買回來，翻兩翻，就覺不是味兒。名為《新怪醫秦博士》，還以為是舊人物、新作者、新故事。進知，竟是把以前的舊故事，以另一種筆法重新編繪而已，何新之有？失望之極。
