我個人較少使用公共交通公具，而且上班時間也較彈性，故此很少機會能索取到免費報紙。但最近城中免費報紙成為熱話，於是我也千方百計的，請求同事拿幾份給我看看。
不看猶自可，一看之下，心中不禁彈出兩個字：「完了！」
「完了」的意思，你可以直接意會為「傳統的收費報紙完了」，又或者「報販完了」；如果你是環保份子，你也可以引伸為「樹木完了」。但我的「完了」，並非純粹以上的種種意思。
我所想到的「完了」，是關乎傳媒行業的。試想想，免費報紙出版得如火如荼，而且部分亦相當成央F它們對傳統收費報紙的打擊，是可想而知的！有報道就指，某報檔一日已賣少五十份報紙。
可以預料，免費報紙將會愈搞愈好，於是乎：一，會直接影響到幾份二、三線報章的生存空間，有些會捱不下去，宣布執笠；二，大報極有可能再掀減價戰，但求收復失地，甚至乎大報也會以攻為守，效法《星島》推出免費報紙，！
嘿，有報章執笠，或有報章減價，對傳媒行內的從業員，都絕不是好消息。可是，免費報紙是國際大趨勢，其勢不可擋也！
