一九七一年首拍的《幪面超人》系列，經歷了近二十部不同作品，快要慶祝三十五周年紀念。於是，其母公司「東映」較早前宣布，最新作品為電影版《幪面超人 The First》。
「The First」的意思，正是回歸原點，不再創作新的「幪面超人」故事，而是重拍三十多年前的第一部《幪面超人》！即是說，「幪面超人一號」本鄉猛（港譯洪大龍），以及「幪面超人二號」一文字隼人（港譯洪飛虎），會是今次的主角！
咪住！當年飾演本鄉猛的藤岡弘，今年五十九歲，而演一文字隼人的佐佐木剛，也五十八了；總不會是找兩位阿伯來「重操故業」吧！（話說回來，其實兩位前輩至今仍然在日本演藝界十分活躍的，但老當益壯是一回事，要他們演回「幪面超人」嘛又是另一回事了！）
「東映」方面，自然是欽定了兩位青靚白淨的新紮哥仔，接棒當「幪面超人」啦！面具下的人雖然變了，面具卻沒有甚麼改變，就是大家細個時熟悉的那兩個元祖「幪面超人」。
所以說「物極必反」，連《幪面超人》都要拍返轉頭；洪大龍和洪飛虎，就快返來了！（續完）
