最近，經常收到一種電郵，卻不完全算是「垃圾電郵」，因為發件者都是我的朋友。
內容卻千篇一律，大意是：「為了可以準時記得你的生日日期，麻煩你幫個忙，按以下連接，把你的生日日期登錄在我的個人生日備忘錄上。謝謝……」
類似的電郵，我曾經收過數十封，可是，我一次也沒有按指示去登記過。
作為我的朋友，你記得我的生日，我十分欣慰；你不記得我的生日，也無所謂，完全理解。皆因，每個人都有數以百計甚至千計的朋友，根本不可能逐一記得每人的生日日期，一般只會記得最深交的十個八個而已；所以，記得是有緣，不記得是無份，不必強求的。
可是，若然閣下要借助電腦或網站的服務，去記得我的生日，有意義嗎？
屆時，電腦提醒你，你知道我的生日到了，你會做甚麼？大概你只會即時在那個網頁，隨便找一張電子生日卡，隨意打幾隻字，將之電郵給我吧！整個過程，大約花你半分鐘而已。但最大問題是，你做這件事太方便了，完全不用費心，換句話說就是「無心」。
因此，我寧可你不要記得我的生日好了。
