這天走進升降機內，同時有另一少女進入；大家互不相識，各自按了要去的層數就各自為政，一切如常，相安無事。
但電梯門一關上不久，就開始隱隱傳來「嘀嗒嘀嗒」的聲音，響個不停；聽落，十分像久違了的打字機聲！我四圍搜尋聲音來源，當視線停留在少女身上時，就看到了一幕奇景！
只見少女埋首在她的手機上，明顯正在發短訊（SMS）。她單手（右手）持機，一隻拇指在鍵盤上飛快地狂按，於是發出了「嘀嗒嘀嗒」聲；她手法純熟，完全不用思索，不消幾秒，手機熒幕上就已布滿了中文字，仲快過在電腦打倉頡！我當堂為之驚嘆！
我也經常發手機短訊，但只能做到約一、兩秒才打出一隻字的速度。一來，拇指按鍵並不靈活；二來，手機那個中文輸入法易學難精。如今看到那少女的出手，只能嘆曰「江湖後浪推前浪」了！
也閉O我少見多怪。據知現今年輕一代，釵h都練成了這種「短訊一陽指」──單靠一隻拇指就可以飛快打字。有手機商更搞過「短訊比賽」，鬥快在手機打字；可以想像得到，參賽者都是一定後生仔吧！我去參加？一定獻世。
