有沒有留意，大多數眼科醫生，都是「四眼」的？既然近視矯正手術愈來愈普遍，為何眼科醫生們，卻鮮有樂意接受手術的？
我本來對此有個理論，最近向一位任眼科醫生的舊同學Elsa求證，結果她一聽之後，其古怪的眼神告訴我說：「你又在異想天開了！」（詳見昨文。）然後，她終於把真相道出。
據她解釋，目前流行的激光矯正近視手術，基本上是沒有大問題的。釵h人接受手術後，都能把近視深度大大減低，不用再戴上厚厚的近視鏡片，絕對是一大佳音！
然而，大問題沒有，小問題卻是存在的。在接受過近視矯正手術後，雖然視力能夠回復，但眼睛的對比（Contrast）靈敏度卻會比以前差。
她舉例說：「眼睛對比度差的人，在駕車時可能會不易察覺遠方接近中的車子，故不適宜駕駛及當司機。同時亦不適合擔任一些需用眼睛的仔細工作，例如：校對、動手術、修理電子器材等等。故作為醫生，是絕對不適合接受近視矯正手術的，只好繼續戴眼鏡。」
噢，原來如此……真的如此？反正在下沒有近視，管他了，嘿嘿。
