話說進入十二月，市面上的周刊雜誌紛紛加料，送呢樣送嗰樣；在下任職的周刊，自然也不例外。
我們一早就已計畫好，會先後隨書附送甚麼《二○○六星座運程》、《狗年運程》之類的書仔，還會連送幾期，一直送到農曆新年前方休。但偏偏十二月的第一期，並沒有任何計劃；如果連該期都有嘢送，就可以做到整個十二月期期有嘢送了，因此沒有理由任它「吉」了出來的。
當其時，剛好《阿旺新傳》進入結局篇，於是心生一計：不如送「阿旺聖誕卡」啦！封面印阿旺個樣上去，內加幾句阿旺語錄，又或者印多幾款老婆仔、阿好、阿賓等，必然會大受讀者及電視迷歡迎吧！用來寄給至愛親朋，收到的人絕對會開心！
我得意洋洋地，把這個建議向某同事提出；不料，對方劈頭一句話，就把我打沉了：「乜而家仲有人寄聖誕卡咩？」
係喎，乜而家仲有人寄聖誕卡咩？真係一年少過一年。這天看看日曆，已臨十二月中，但我收到的聖誕卡只得兩大張。
承接昨文「短命聖誕樹」的話題，如果說聖誕樹注定是短命種，那麼聖誕卡（指印在紙張、卡紙上的「真聖誕卡」）對釵h人來說，已然是「死了釵h年」。
