以往在巴士、地鐵中，看到身旁的人在讀報、讀書，我都會忍不住八卦一下，雙眼斜視地「偷窺」對方的書報內容。就算自己手中有書，也一樣會如此，彷彿有種「人哋杯雪糕好味啲」的孩童心態。
可是，最近這招愈來愈不管用。就像這日搭巴士，身旁的女士甫一坐下，就把她的「書」翻出來；可是她翻出來的是一部 PDA，她的「書」是電子書。
我「裝」（偷偷張望）了半天，才從那細小屏幕上密密麻麻的字中，辨出了書名（檔案名）的位置，但只能看到是五個字：《乜大乜乜乜》。除了個「大」字之外，其他四字都筆劃多難以辨認。
再往下看，花了九牛二虎之眼力，又看到書中某句中一個角色的名字：「蘭 X 搖搖頭說……」心想，主角名叫「蘭 X」，九成是愛情小說了！
如此「裝」，又辛苦又看不出甚麼來，只好放棄。放棄的不止是我，就連那位女士自己，在看了幾「頁」之後，也忍不住疲倦，合眼假寐了。
回到家中，隨手拿起我正在追看的一本小說，看了幾頁，恍然大悟：剛才那女士看的不就是這本《達文西密碼》麼！主角是蘭登呀！
