日本今年年尾又有一齣《哥斯拉》電影上畫，名為《Godzilla：Final Wars》。
名為「Final」，但請不要相信此片是《哥斯拉》系列的大結局；製作《哥斯拉》電影的「東寶」曾在六八年、七五年，兩度宣布哥斯拉退休，而九五年「東寶」更在片中殺死了哥斯拉。雖然如此，哥斯拉仍可數度復出、不斷復活，繼續成為日本每年的賀歲片目。
《Godzilla：Final Wars》乃《哥斯拉》系列的第二十八部作品。每次看到這些十幾二十部的系列作，總會令我想到另一長壽電影系列「○○七」。前陣子看到的消息是，電影公司已宣布把正牌「○○七」皮雅斯布士南「炒魷」，不會找他演出第二十一部「占士邦片」。該片原定在二○○六年公映，可是現在電影公司要重新選角，時間表肯定要推遲。（也部A電影公司是有意要把映期拖到二「○○七」年，搞搞噱頭吧！）
哥斯拉和占士邦都是不會死的。只要我們這個文明存在的一天，他們都會繼續存在，那管是《哥斯拉二○四六》抑或《新鐵金剛勇破火星謎城》。如果這個文明湮沒了的話，他們就成了後世的神話傳奇。
