旺角有一兩家通宵營業的影碟店。半夜三更之時，你很有可能會在此發現我的蹤跡。
每逢加班開夜過後，凌晨兩三點之時，一班同事總不願就此返家就寢，點都要出去旺角蒲一蒲。第一站是茶曙U，選擇可多了，二十四小時營業的不下十數家。四寶河、車仔麵再加熱奶茶下肚後，待會定必會好瞓些；有些人甚至嫌不夠飽肚，會來一客瑞士雞翼炒公仔麵或鐵板雜扒壕w─凌晨時份鋸扒，很有點不可思議吧。
吃飽了，就會走去那一兩家影碟店，看呀看。其趣味在於，發掘當天最新推出的影碟，第二天就可以對人說「《乜乜乜》已出了 DVD」，顯示自己是站在市場最前線。另一趣味，是發現明明上個月才推出、售百多元的 DVD，現在居然只售七十九元；這種掌握海鮮價、看準時機才入貨的能耐，不是人人都有的。
還有一種趣味，就是從那幾千幾百款只售十數元的 DVD、VCD 中，找出一些驚世好碟。這陣子周星馳熱嘛，他的舊作 DVD 自然成為熱賣，全部二十元有找。二十蚊買到正版 DVD，很是不可思議吧。
畢竟是旺角黑夜，甚麼事都會發生，所以不必大驚小怪。
