打從去年入秋開始，本港大小書報攤已被一本本紅色的書仔佔據了一大角；唔講你都知，那就是來年的生肖運程書。
運程書大戰，每年由秋天打到春季，戰況愈打愈烈！記得大約十年前，只有幾位「名家」會推出運程書。但當大家看到「名家」們刊登在封面的大頭照片，一年比一年「發福」，同業們開始明白到這些運程書的「價值」所在，於是也紛紛自封「名家」、齊齊出書。近年，報攤上的「名家生肖運程書」，幾達五十種之多！
運程書最新的戰線，竟打到入周刊市場，玩「隨書附送」。早於去年十一、十二月，就有好幾部八卦周刊、大眾雜誌，曾隨書附送一本「雞年運程特刊」，找來一些「名家」執筆或當顧問。「名家」們為增加曝光率，都願意出手相助，甚至東家幫完幫西家。於是乎，周刊送運程書又成為風尚。
小弟有幸參與其中一本的編製，名為《三大名家大改運》，隨《東周刊》附送。此書一送，該期周刊果然銷量報捷！可是幾天後，另一本周刊居然推出「四大名家雞年運程特集」……看來，明年再搞運程特刊的話，要玩鬥多「名家」了！
