農曆新年前夕，「送猴迎雞」的氣氛已然在城中散播。
雞年，常令我想起周星馳的《逃學威龍三之龍過雞年》。單看戲名，就知道這是一部賀歲片，且肯定是雞年賀歲片──原來這已經是十二年前的電影了，真係眨下眼咁快！
於是，手痕痕走去查資料：到底十二年前（一九九三年）還有些啥賀歲片？若以賣座程度分先後，當年同期賀歲港產片有：《花田囍事》、《城市獵人》、《龍過雞年》、《東方不敗風雲再起》、《新流星蝴蝶劍》等。此外，還有賀歲第二檔期的《黃飛鴻三之獅王爭霸》、《射鵰英雄傳之東成西就》、《黃飛鴻之鬼腳七》、《東方三俠》等。可見，當年仍然是港產片的黃金期。
有趣的是，除以上提及兩部「黃飛鴻片」之外，當年全年有七部「黃飛鴻電影」！其餘五部是：《黃飛鴻鐵雞鬥蜈蚣》、《黃飛鴻四之王者之風》、《黃飛鴻對黃飛鴻》、《少年黃飛鴻之鐵馬騮》、《黃飛鴻之男兒當報國》。
另除了《龍過雞年》及《鐵雞鬥蜈蚣》外，當年再有兩部與雞有關的電影，但都是三級片：《屬雞的女人》及《雞年大姦情》！
