一位任職銀行高層的朋友，結婚經年一直租屋住，最近終於入市買樓。問他買了那裏，他笑答曰：「咪你最驚住嗰啲超級高樓大廈囉！」
追問之下，原來他買了某著名樓盤的六十八樓單位──本來選五十二樓的，但他謂由於「五二」有「唔易」之意，不吉利也，所以寧選更高的六十八樓。我一聽為之咋舌！
其妻問，到底住咁高有乜唔好。我從科學的角度為她分析：「住在六十幾樓，其實等同住在一座山上，該處的氣壓、氣溫以至磁場等環境因素，都與地面差異甚大。
「古時住在山上的人，耐唔耐先下山一次，而每次上山下山都是徒步而行的，行足大半日，身體會慢慢去適應環境的轉變。而家你以高速電梯，幾十秒就上了『高山』，幾十秒又『跌落』平地，日日如是，點都都身體有不良影響。」她聽後，點頭稱是。
我反問朋友對樓市回升的看法。他卻搖頭道：「始終大家的薪酬並沒有重拾升軌，絕不能看好。一旦美國加息，香港照跟，那就有很大壓力了！」
說的也是。如果不是他貴為銀行高層，可以享有二厘的特別低息住屋貸款，那他也未必會在此時入市呢。
