有沒有留意一些美國的球類決賽？無論是美式足球、棒球、籃球或甚麼球，職業、校際或業餘都好，只要那是一場決賽、一場冠軍戰，就必定會有以下現象：
當比賽結束，分出高下之際，得勝一隊（假設是 A 隊）的隊員及擁躉固然欣喜若狂，然後鏡頭中就會看到，他們已然穿上了印有「二○○四年度乜乜決賽總冠軍 A 隊」的特製 T 恤！
以往我有疑問：印製這些 T 恤的廠商，怎會預先知道一定是 A 隊勝出？如果是 B 隊勝又如何？答案是：T 恤商早已印好兩批不同版本，一批是「總冠軍 A 隊」，一批是「總冠軍 B 隊」，那一隊勝就拿那一個版本出來賣，另一版本即成錯體廢物。
換句話說，如果廠商目標是在現場售出一千件冠軍 T 恤，那就必須製作雙倍數量二千件，浪費掉的成本，當然會由消費者負擔；即是說，原本售二十美元一件，就會雙倍變成四十美元！不過，勝方的擁躉情緒正高漲，購買時當然不會計較價錢啦！
至於那些浪費掉的「貼錯冠軍 T 恤」，個人認為，大有可能被運往第三世界地區平價發售。此乃「勝者王敗者寇」的另一種演繹。
