忽發奇想，買了一對「獲機度機」（Walkie Talkie），在公司內使用。
話說，我在公司內經常要二樓四樓兩頭走；我一半時間在二樓辦工，但與四樓一位同事須維持緊密聯繫；而那位同事，亦一樣「冇時定」經常唔喺位。心生一計，不如以對講機連繫。
有人介紹說，現在對講機十分便宜，三百元有兩部。到我去買時，方發覺三百蚊兩部的只是鴨寮街雜嘜貨色，若名廠機的話每部至少二百五。電器產品，我是堅持買名廠的，於是花了五百元買了一對「摩記」。
「獲機」之後（獲得對講機），自然要「度機」（測度一下其收發弁遄^。在辦公室內使用，十分清晰；現在市面上發售的民用對講機都有三公里收發範圍，在同一建築物內使用絕無問題。「四樓有公司治，二樓上唔上來食，Over。」「唔食唔食，減肥中，Over。」
玩得過癮，將之拿回家中測試。接收到的，儼然是另一個世界。我聽到一班無線電發燒友的空氣中 ICQ、又有父母跟子女的「返屋企開飯喇」對答、以及方圓三公里內幾家酒樓的等位情況！好玩！
