這陣子，很熱。
動輒攝氏三十度以上的氣溫，令人不想上街；只想躲在空調房間內，睡呀睡。
大家是否覺得，印象中十多二十年前的三十三度，並沒有現在的三十三度這麼熱？雖然數字一樣，但感覺是現在的三十三度熱得多，有如以往的三十七度！
其實，這並非單純感覺而已，也有科學根據的。我記得八十年代之前，並不是家家戶戶都安裝有冷氣，而亦未有那麼多長期空調的大型商場、建築物，所以當時的三十三度，是真正的三十三度；只要有一陣涼風吹來，或用手撥撥扇子，就涼快多了。
現在，無數冷氣機放出的熱空氣，在城中聚集，故實際溫度可能比天文台所錄得的，要高出好幾度；就算有風吹來，也是熱風！
另一重點：自從城中大部分巴士轉為空調車後，對街上的溫度亦造成很大影響！等同每天有幾千部流動冷氣機，在街上施放熱氣！想遠些，不止是巴士；在七十年代之時，就連一般私家車、的士等也不是全部有冷氣的，釵h只以一把小風扇來消暑。
結論是：冷氣這東西，帶給我們一時之涼快，但長遠卻令地球愈來愈熱。
