忽然間，覺得自己實在很幸福。
因為我發覺自己所居住的大廈附近一百步之內，已有齊供應我生活所需的各種店鋪，甚麼都不缺乏。
一出大廈門口，就有間書報社，賣報紙雜誌漫畫；這對我是十分重要的，絕對放在第一位！乾洗店也很近，五十步之內，一次過拿十多廿磅衣物去洗也不覺累。不遠處，有麵包店，達三家之多，食極都唔厭。
講起食，附近有幾家快孺情A包括最出名那家；有酒樓，有燒臘店，有日本菜，有涼茶鋪，有甜品屋……真的全部都在大廈門口一百步範圍之內。百步內其他店子尚有：足浴店、租碟店、文具店、電器鋪、補習社、銀行、診所……
若計一百五十步的話，就連便利店、超市、郵局、藥房、沖晒店等都有齊，全部都不用過馬路，沿途有瓦遮頭不怕雨淋！如此方便、舒適、豐盛的生活環境，這不是叫做幸福麼？
想起家人在美國的日子，去一趟超市、吃一頓早嚏B提一次款也要駕車。租碟？飲茶？睇醫生？非得要長途跋涉出去唐人街不可。住處的一百步之內有些甚麼？我說不出來。想來想去，還是香港式生活適合我多些！
