自小就很喜愛那些，五架戰機或戰車，合體成一個巨大機械人的玩具。經典例子「超力電磁俠」，出自同名日本動畫。
片中五架戰機分別由五位年輕人駕駛。千篇一律的情節是：五機分開對敵永遠唔夠人打，到最後一定要結合成機械人，咁就三兩下手勢解決對手，圓滿結局。
或問：「為何不一開始就立即結合？」嘿，你有所不知了！不是想結合就結合的。各機艙內都有個測量各人心意（戰意）的儀表，心須五人的心意百分百一致，儀表爆燈，基地中的電腦才會發出指令：「五人同心！可以結合！」
嘩！要達到五人心意完全合一，談何容易？在現實中，這幾乎是從未遇上過的「奇事」。比較接近的，也閉O學生時代，與三四位同學「結合」成小組做Project；但過程中，又豈會是百分百心意合一？總有鬧過意見吧！
進入社會，要有同心同意的拍檔就更難。「合夥時兄弟、拆夥時契弟」的例子屢見不鮮；一些所謂的班底，到頭來定必有人反碗底。經驗告訴我：能一時合作已屬難得，無謂強求甚麼心意合一！
五人同心大結合？還是寄情於玩具、動畫吧！
