B字頭的日本玩具品牌，最近在香港開設首間專門店。開幕之日，自然引來不少孩子們熱烈捧場。
小孩都愛玩具，而香港小孩（尤其男孩）都愛B牌玩具。早在我小學的年代，約廿多年前，就開始與B牌結緣。那時候B牌有個別稱：「公仔嘜」，因為它當時的標誌，是個大字型的紅色公仔。
最早開始玩的「公仔嘜」玩具，是塑膠模型。它一早就買下不少動畫劇集的玩具生產權，所以舉凡《鐵甲萬能俠》、《小露寶》等平面偶像，在它旗下都變成了立體化的模型，深受男仔歡迎。
當然，最令「公仔嘜」發揚光大、大發特發的，肯定是《機動戰士高達》了！自中學開始，我花在《高達》模型、玩具、書籍上的金錢，多得不能統計。有朋友是位超級《高達》迷，他常笑稱，自己每個月是在幫B牌打工！難怪經歷廿五載的《高達》，到今年仍推出最新版動畫，與其說是歷久常新，不如說是長有長搵！
本來，像我這種「公仔嘜」老知交，理應去專門店朝朝聖、湊湊熱鬧，但一想到孩子們蜂擁而至的「偉大」場面，就打消了念頭；我愛的是玩具，而不是小孩子。
