《哈利波特五之鳳凰令》在今日出版之前夕，作者 J. R. Rowling 無端端又向傳媒放料，謂在今集中有一主角會死，而自己親手「殺」死了他（她），很痛心云云。
咦？乜呢一招咁鬼似曾相識？
一九九二年十一月，美國漫畫界發生了一件大事，就是「超人之死」。漫畫公司「痛心」地決定，藉 Doomsday 之手，「殺」死這位年逾五十的英雄，當然不會死錯人，一早就大肆預告，使之成為國際大新聞。
之後，超人屍骨未寒，漫畫公司就積極籌備「超人復活」！有段期間更一開四，出現四個新超人……到了今時今日，超人仍然生勾勾，漫畫每月推出；「超人之死」，由頭到尾只是一招宣傳。
再早些，於八十年代，同一漫畫公司亦炮製過「羅賓之死」，更大搞讀者投票，以決定到底這位蝙蝠俠助手，會否死於死敵小丑之手……結果羅賓是死了。
但，熟悉美國漫畫的朋友都知道，死了的那位是第二代羅賓（第一代早就自立門戶，成為另一位英雄 Nightwing）。後來，蝙蝠俠又「不甘寂寞」，先後招募第三、四代羅賓。
啲主角咁易死咩！搞到要「殺」死主角，永遠只有一個目的：救書！
