日前，廣州首批「自由行」旅客來港，幾位排頭位的，無端端成為傳媒追訪的對象。
在各台的電視新聞中，見到兩位來自廣州的少年旅客，尤其令人印象深刻。兩位將於九月升讀大學，趁開學前一嘗來港旅遊購物的心願。
他們各自帶了三數千元，在當日一早去辦手續，然後由廣州乘直通車抵紅磡車站；與在車站相迎的祖母飲過茶後，二人直往旺角區購物。由廣州至紅磡至旺角，全程有大群記者貼身追訪，儼如名人訪港般的駕勢。對兩位少年人來說，這次旅程絕不自由。
傳媒最關心他們如何購物、如何有助香港經濟。其中一位少年表示，此行要買一件正版皇馬球衣（約五百港元以上），因內地買到的都是翻版貨；結果他看了好幾家店子，仍未出手，原因是「要貨比三家」。後來，見他以三百元買了一部手提CD機，幫襯的店子是「豐澤」而非電器黑店。不得不相信，他們絕對是精明消費者，而非南下的水魚。
廣州少年令我想起，自己升大學前也曾有類似的畢業旅行，和幾位同學去了東京自由行兩星期。東京，一直是香港年輕人的旅遊重鎮。如果香港能把握機會，發展成為全中國年輕人的旅遊購物首選之地，那大家還用愁嗎？
