前天「雙眼颱風杜鵑」襲港，八號、九號風球先後登場，成為今年影響本港威力最大的颱風。
當日下午八號風球高懸時，我如常在編輯部辦工。正在電腦屏幕前趕稿審稿之際，卻收到好幾位朋友的網上傳呼，他們不約而同地，第一句就問：「還在公司？幹嗎不回家？」
唉，這些朋友們全都知道我在報館任職，居然還問得出這種問題，真令我哭笑不得！我往往只會無情地回敬一句：「我是做報紙的，就算世界末日都要返工！」然後就不理對方反應了。
有一兩位，卻在網上大呼小叫，謂打風留在家中好悶，正四圍撩人與之聊天。
按道理，今時今日，打風留在家中又怎會悶？換作是我，我一定大把嘢做。起碼，只要有得上網，無論是上網瀏覽或聊天或玩遊戲，都絕對不會有困在家中的感覺！
即使不上網，相信大家和我一樣，家中都一定有很多未看的VCD、DVD，大可整日在家「煲碟」。同理，亦有釵h未打完的遊戲碟、買了未看過的書、看過但值得重溫的漫畫……又點會悶？
多年前，還未有上網、打機、煲碟等這一切，故每逢打風，就會有大批怕悶的人上戲院。如今打風之時，戲院生意不見有大旺，就可見大家根本不會悶。
