往離島的渡輪上，坐着獨自夜歸的小白。
天色已黑，海面更黑，窗外並無風景可看。船艙內，望不見歡欣人面，皆因人面都深藏在口罩裏；大家露出來的目光，雖不是兇光，卻都是空光──空洞洞的，沒有目標，沒有冀望。簡單來說，是一個字：茫。
夜海茫茫，人心也茫茫。何處是岸？
小白看看手表，還有半小時才到彼岸。反正百無聊賴，便自背囊中拿出他的道具來──一部SmartPhone。只見他在那闊大的屏幕上，用指頭按、按、按……
鏡頭一轉，另外一雙手，亦正在一部電腦鍵盤上按按按。拉闊鏡頭，卻見一位熟悉的仁兄，正在夜靜無人的辦公室中埋頭苦幹。
忽然，他注意到熒幕一角的ICQ視窗中，閃起了兩個字：「小白」！他連忙打字道：「喂，好悶呀，我仲喺公司。」小白回覆：「我仲悶，搭緊船！」
「搭船都上網？嘥錢！」「我用GPRS上，好平咋。」
兩個悶人，就此以高科技連繫着，進行真正跨越海陸空的交流；二人一時間變得很忙似的，其實只是在閒聊。
當然，這種「忙」，自然要比「茫」好得多了！
