這陣子，人人講求衞生，個個要求無菌，卻已到了一個近乎吹毛求疵的地步。
以往，香港其實也不算不衞生。在亞洲區城市當中，香港的衞生雖然未至於名列前茅，但也絕對不會失禮人。香港地鐵站及車廂的乾淨程度，更肯定是世界上數一數二的！
很奇怪，如此一個衞生的城市，居然也會成為疫症的爆發地，不免令香港市民覺得：以前還不夠衞生，要再進一步衞生！
但是，衞生，是有代價的！
記得某段時期，香港大力推行環保，印象中有些宣傳短片，是勸人少用紙巾、多用手帕的。然而，最近我們收到的訊息，卻與之大相逕庭，相反地是要多用「用完即棄」的紙巾──咳嗽打噴嚏固然要用，去完洗手間也要用，現在就連開門、撳電梯都話要用張紙巾隔住！
另一方面，不久之前仍看到電視賣廣告，呼籲市民節約用水的。可是如今呢？喂，大家記住要勤洗手，去完街要洗手，摸完公眾物品要洗手……仲有仲有，摸眼同摸鼻前後，都要洗手！嘩，咁洗法，啲水費咪……
大「疫」當前，大家好像都把「環保」兩個字拋諸腦後了！這，就是代價。
