半夜三更，友人L小姐來電求救。劈頭第一句便問：「你熟電腦㗎呵？」
我戰戰兢兢地說「熟熟地啦」，但答得很沒有信心；皆因我知道她接下來要說的，一定是超級奇難雜症。
果然！她剛買了一部新電腦，是 Apple 最新出的型號 Power Mac G5。我一聽到 G5 這名號，就馬上頭大了！
不，不要誤會！G5 絕對是一部好機，外形又靚仔，弁鄐S強勁！可是，它實在太新太勁，根本釵h人仍未接觸過它（包括小弟）；再者，它比起上一代 G4，在硬件及軟件上均有不少截然不同的改革，憑我的 G3、G4 經驗，可謂完全解答不了她的 G5 問題。
其實，她遇到的問題只是不能用 G5 來傳真文件而已。雖然聽落事小，但在我之前，她已請教過不少 Mac 機高手、問過原廠保養人員、看過官方網頁，皆無一可解答問題出在哪裏！
我不禁罵她：「你這個人明明是電腦白癡，為甚麼總是要買最新最Top的電腦，甘願做試機先鋒？」事關她早有前科，上次她率先買的是 G4 Cube，一部概念很新但後來被證實問題多多的機種，她自然成了白老鼠，用到一鑊泡。今次居然又率先買 G5，證明她並沒有學乖！
