本周在美國，有一套萬眾觸目的DVD推出市場，名為《Looney Tunes：The Golden Collection》。
何謂《Looney Tunes》？有番咁上下年紀的，都應該記得小時候在電視看過的眾多「卡通短片」中，有賓尼兔、小鳥咇咇、達菲鴨、小肥豬、雀仔翠兒與大貓阿寶等經典角色；他們正是「華納兄弟公司」旗下《Looney Tunes》卡通系列的人物，在美國以至世界各地都家傳戶曉，絕對可與「迪士尼」的卡通人物分庭抗禮。
《Looney Tunes》早在一九三○年已面世，一直製作到一九六九年，總共有約一千一百套卡通短片。雖然它舊，但直到今日，仍然在各地不斷重播，可謂歷久不衰，影響了好幾代人。
九六年，《Looney Tunes》卡通人物曾跟籃球之神米高佐敦「合演」了一部《太空也入樽》（Space Jam），頗受歡迎。故今年再度添食，真人加卡通電影《Looney Tunes：Back in Action》將在十一月十四日於美國公映。
話說回來，《Looney Tunes》從來未出過DVD，故今次《The Golden Collection》十分受注視及期待。一套共四碟，精選了五十六部卡通；相信未來還會陸續推出，Fans又有排儲了！
