剛剛過了感恩節。對於香港人來說，感恩節不是節，不會有甚麼慶祝活動或特備節目；這似乎只是美國人的專有節日而已。
可是，以前香港也沒有萬聖節。卻不知從何年起，大家不知怎地突然開始慶祝起萬聖節來，於該晚齊齊扮鬼扮馬開派對；近年的萬聖節更是愈搞愈大，已儼然成為年輕一族每年的必玩大節日。到底是誰把鬼佬的萬聖節，變成本地的節日？大概，是蘭桂坊那班搞手吧。可以說，如果香港沒有蘭桂坊，就不會有萬聖節。
在下認為，香港在不久的將來，也會有感恩節了！要知道，美國人家庭成員多散居全國各地，而每年感恩節，就是一家人團聚的大日子；不論是在別州工作或鄰市就學的子女，都一定會趁感恩節返家度長周末，一嘗母親私房的火雞大嚏C是故感恩節前後，全國航班爆滿、各州公路擠塞，不在話下。
香港呢？愈來愈多港人北上工作、就學，近至深圳遠至京滬，情況開始與美國人的穿州過省相近。於是乎，大家對感恩節的感情需求已開始出現。
需然我們早已有做冬，但畢竟冬節比較老人家Feel，後生仔對之興趣不大；正如他們慶祝萬聖節，卻無視孟蘭節一樣。
