朋友小明在過完年後的第一個開工日，就遇上煩惱的事──他收到了老闆給他的開工利是。
收開工利是，理應開心，何來煩惱？我追問之下，小明道出原委：原來他發現，老闆給他的那封利是，裏面居然是空的！
他馬上向同事們旁敲側擊地探問，似乎其他同事的利是，都是有「餡」的；因他們在言談間都表示，很滿意老闆今次的「出手」。
問題來了：到底小明這封特別的利是，是老闆的無心之失，還是有意之舉？是老闆唔小心入漏咗一封，純屬意外？抑或是老闆故意地，藉此給小明一個警號、一個暗示？
煩惱來了：到底他是否應該去問一問老闆？又應該怎樣開口？
果然夠惱人！小明問我意見；我直覺認為，是小明多心了。就算他老闆如何不喜歡他，也不會如此做吧！頂多，只會給小明一封數額較其他同事細的利是罷了。
可是，若真是老闆無心之失，我也覺得實在很難向老闆開口。難道真的當面說：「你上次俾我封利是，入面冇錢㗎！俾多一封我啦」？換作是我，我實在開不了口。
只好勸小明，就當此事是一個真正的「開工大吉」吧！開工利是入面冇嘢，仲唔係大「吉」？
