夜更的士司機向我這個乘客發牢騷：「乜香港經濟好咗咩？唔覺喎！做夜更的士就知啦，都冇人去夜街！」
我卻想告訴他，不是沒有人去夜街，而是今時今日的香港地，根本沒有甚麼夜街好去！
某夜十一時，我跟兩位朋友去到全港最旺、最不夜天的旺角區，想找一個地方落腳，有重要的事情商談。最理想的地方，是一家通宵營業、坐得舒適、不會太嘈雜的咖啡店。有沒有如此理想的地方呢？
我建議到一家通宵營業的漫畫咖啡屋，它內設一個個卡座，十分好坐之餘亦有一定的隱私，頗適合我們談正事。可是，去到方發覺，該漫畫屋早已結業多時了！但它樓下的大招牌燈箱居然仍亮着，吹脹！
然後，三個怨男在街上東找西找，接連摸進去幾家較合適的店子，卻都說只開到十一時半、十二時；那些開得比較夜一點的，則全是酒吧式極度嘈吵的架步。不得不呼怨：在香港要找個半夜飲嘢傾偈的地方，真係咁難？唔通真係搞到要去開間 K 房？如果在深圳、上海、北京等內地城市，我就知道有不少好選擇！
結果，摸上一家「二樓咖啡店」，謂開到凌晨二時，聊勝於無；可是未到一點半，就趕人走了！憤怒！
