已就業多年的你，如果有機會可以完全放下工作，重回校園進修一兩年，你會選擇讀甚麼？
朋友當中，就有不少人走上這條路，教人好生羡慕。
朋友一號是舊同事「卡路」，任職雜誌美術設計員多年，且已晉身管理階級。年前毅然離職，隻身上路，走去日本讀日文並進修設計。早前她回港度假時在街上重逢，見她活得快樂，人又靚咗，成個日本妹咁款，我也深感欣慰。
朋友二號亦是舊同事，名為「機師」。當年由雜誌記者做起，專報道漫畫動畫消息，近年升為編輯，似乎發展不俗。月前卻突然辭職，近日飛咗去東京開學，一償學日文的心願。
朋友三號，台北熱女郎「娟娟」，在全台灣最大綫上遊戲公司的「孖屐亭」部門工作，跟老闆南征北討多年，深受器重。最近聽說她居然不幹了，計畫跑去紐約學美語。
朋友四號，廿五年生死之交「安迪」，某大4A廣告公司的CD（創作總監），縱橫廣告界十多年。某次聊天，卻透露他準備今秋退（而不）休，重返校園全職進修「孖屐亭」。
四個朋友四個夢，恨死隔籬恨死我！我好想讀中文、日文同埋考古學呀！
