, letting her glide beneath him. As they near the ground, he picks up speed and, gently, "tackles" Sirith to the ground. They land in a heap under Rashkae's cherry tree, a pile of feathers and fur, gold and blue-white. Rashkae's head somehow emerges from the fray, and find's his mate's face. One golden paw reaches up, framing her face with his touch. His heart does a backflip; his senses morph from shivering to brilliantly warm. I liked that.
