Well, believe it or not it was sold out over 1 week prior to the event last year. There was about 550 people at the event, so it must be worth it.

It costs so much because the make up, hair and choreography is all done by professional, well known companies, it's in a ball room with 3 course meal, there's pre-dinner drinks, and setting up the stage, lights etc costs alot of money.
