The Miss Chinese Community Quest, Melbourne 2004 is a community event. All proceeds from contestants fundraising and the night goes towards the Salvation Army.

All tables on the night were for 10 pax, with some at 11 pax but only upon request of the guests. There were no tables of 15 as somebody has falsely commented, the hotel doesn't have tables big enough and for OH&S reasons would not allow it to begin with.

The event ran ontime, predinners scheduled for 7-7.30pm, dinner served, then show starts at 8.30pm. How was the 'running late' determined in various feedbacks? How would you know what the schedule was?

As Angela has mentioned, this is a live show, not a video production, you would expect delays here and there. Although there were no significant ones on the night.

There was no pre-event judging, it was all done on the night, and according to their performances on the night. And yes, it was purely a coincidence that top 3 wore pink cheongsams. The winners were not chosen because of their height, that is unfair to them as their performances that night led to their win. Give them the credit they deserve.

Miss Photogenic - the online web poll is from this unofficial website, and has nothing to do with the actual Miss Chinese Community Quest & its results.

Jess is a deserving, beautiful & talented representative of our Chinese community and I'd like to take this opportunity to wish Jess all the luck in the world for MCI where she will undoubtedly do well & make Melbourne proud.
