I have found with Mallory that putting hsr with my other dog (a Boxer Rottie Mix) that it is easier to get her attion at long range. She is only 12 weeks so I'm not as far as you yet in behavior development. I am awaiting my vibrating collar. [Before my son was born I worked for a pet store for two years; the group that came in there always used the Pet Pager remote trainer (model PVPP-300)because it was inexspinsve $89.00]. I'm not sure how well it is going to work for Mallory but they always had good things to say about it so I thought it was worth a try.
