Subject: Sunscreen?

And another question about Roscoe... our rescued pup who has very pink skin under a white coat... I read on one of the websites about deaf dogs that they often need sunscreen. Is this true?? If so, is sunscreen for humans really ok? He licks himself, will it hurt him? What SPF should we use?

This was actually a question I had when bathing him yesterday because his ears look sunburnt - I was wondering if they really were supposed to be THAT pink or if it was a burn. Hmmmm.
