Subject: Whats the problem?

I am a local resident.
I welcome the construction of this tower.
It will provide my residence with good indoor coverage of the 3G network, allowing fast data rates, without the needs for fixed wires.
Orange/Hutchinson have installed a wonderfully low impact site, replacing an old telegraph pole. It will also improve lighting of the oval.
Have you seen the ugly phone towers at Padstow Heights? Compare the two sites.
The pole is quite a distance from the school, so EME levels would not be an issue, and should comply with ARPANSA.
If you are concerned about EME, why have you provided a mobile number as a contact?
Surely holding a mobile phone to your head to make/receive calls would be subjecting yourself to higher levels of EMR.
Do you give your kids mobile phones to use?
Have you ever complained about the coverage of your mobile phone network?
How can phone companies provide coverage to suburbs if all residents oppose the installation of phone towers?
If you are concerned about radiation, what about your television set, computer monitor, microwave oven, cordless phone, mobile phone, electrical wires through the house, HV towers - especially in Peakhurst & Lugarno!
Finally, I read that the locals wanted the tower relcoated the the golf course - thats right, move the tower to threaten another nearby school, Peakhurst South Primary, then its not your problem anymore.
Just a different point of view to think about....
