You've had what, seven shitty seasons since 1969? You won a BCS game three years ago, but oh no! Brady Hoke was bad for two/three whole seasons (and went 2-2 against ND).

Of course you're entitled to a $6 million gift card to the coaching store!

By my estimate, you have a 90% chance of hiring Jim Harbaugh. This is based on the fact that I don't want you to hire Harbaugh, and I never get what I want.

If that doesn't work out, maybe you can fall back on a two-time national champion, or the guy who made RUTGERS relevant, or, the guy who took Mississippi State to #1. God forbid, you might have to grab Jim McElwain or someone else that 100 other programs would raw-dog a feverish Nigerian to hire.

ND, by contrast, has had seven shitty seasons since 2003. That's a more recent year than 1969.

On Saturday, we handed Steve Sarkisian -- not to be confused with Nick Saban -- a card that read, "how many points would you like to jam up our cunts this afternoon?" Steve pondered it, then decided 49 points would be a good number to squirt inside of us. Any more, and our excuse factory might be overwhelmed. Any fewer, and he might only be able to flip five of our recruits.

So we get more mediocrity. We get a gift card to Radio Shack. I'll use mine to buy a long cable for my kid's Kindle. He already has a long cable, so I'll just hang myself with the new one.
