It's been quite the weather day in Chicago.

More rain today than we usually get for the entire month of June. Most of it fell within two hours. Round two came this evening. Not too much rain for us this time but it did get scarily windy and I told mom we should head to the basement for a bit. Not very long but when we came up I noticed two fire engines down the street. I think a large tree limb fell and they were looking to see if any roof damage had been done. They didn't stay long.

Glad I didn't go to the concert tonight.
