I only saw part of it. Chris Brury visited a NO neighborhood that had not been flooded and found a few elderly residents "shopping" at a food store that had its roof partially blown off during the hurricane. One woman had a bunch of fresh flowers, in additon to some food, and said she really didn't need the flowers and asked if he thought she should put them back. The reporter said the flowers would only die if left behind and he didn't think anyone would think she should leave them in the store. She smiled, "Good, I feel better about taking them now."

He also showed that the cases of wine were practically untouched as were the expensive cheeses.

Another elderly woman pushing a cart was diabetic and had hypertension. She was looking for foods with no sugar and low salt. Brury asked if she were finding any, "oh yes" she said with a smile. Neither woman seemed afraid to be out in their neighborhood even though the streets were empty.

A younger guy had a small car with almost no gas and filled the trunk with boxes of food and gave it out as he headed back to the edge of the floodwaters. Parked the car, put the food he had left in a pull behind plastic igloo cooler, put on rubber waders, and headed for his home which was about thigh deep in water. He said he would leave but he had very little gas in the car. His name was McGrue.
