I didn't sign up for just the discounts. I wanted to see if I could get health insurance throught the AARP and some help paying my college tuition. I don't qualify for scholarships because I work, my income is too high. I'm finding that you have to have little or no income to qualify for scholarships and grants, even if your grades are good, or be a full time student, which I can't be because I have to work. I'm getting student health insurance throught the university. It's not the greatest but it's half what I was paying for an indivual policy with a high deductable.

I do like the magazine.

I'm not sure if I'll renew my membership in January.
